MOT Compliance

We are obligated to make further changes to the way in which our clients access the Motor Vehicle products. Over the coming months there will be further communications advising you about this.

  • Essentially the changes will mean that when a User logs into our subscriber site and access one of the Motor Vehicle products they will only see the Business Activity (i.e. Debt Collector) and Purpose which they have been authorised to access.
  • Click Here for a full list of the Business Activities & related purposes.

We will require each client to provide us with:

  • The Motor Vehicle Business Activity(s) (MVBA) that you are authorised to access
  • Provide evidence to support your request for access to the purposes that fall within the selected Business Activity
  • Where applicable, provide the Level of Access your company has been granted from the MOT/NZTA
  • A list of all users who require access, specifying which level & MVBA they are authorised to access

For Example:

1. It may be that an Admin person may be authorised to access the Motor Vehicle products however wouldn't be authorised to have the same level of access that a Processing Handler would.

2. A person providing credit within an organisation wouldn't be authorised to access for the purposes of Debt Collection & therefore they won't be able to see/select this option.
