Every applicant is scored according to how their credit information compares to other credit-active New Zealanders at that point in time. It then gives a numerical score to help you determine whether the applicant should be accepted or not.
The higher the score, the lower the risk.
For instance, if your applicant's VedaScore is 600, it means they are an average credit risk compared to the rest of the population. This score provides a consistent and rigorous criteria for making credit decisions and allows you to easily change risk tolerance levels.
As well as reducing credit risk, VedaScore Plus provides a Driver Licence option, giving you even greater protection against bad debt and identity fraud.
