Comprehensive Credit Reporting (CCR) has been permissible in New Zealand since 1st April 2012. We expect the transition to a comprehensive (or positive) reporting regime to commence within the coming months. Veda is fully enabled for CCR and working to assist the credit industry with this transition. As Australia still requires a change to the Privacy Act to permit CCR, New Zealand will lead Australasia into the new era of comprehensive credit reporting.
